Our whole life we're told
To be nice.
Be kind.
But what if the favor is never returned?
What if one day all the kindness is slurped out of us
Through a straw of injustice, advantage, selfishness?
What if we can't play anymore?
Do we suffer the consuquences?
Or do we suffer them anyway?
